MK Godley, DVM
Dr. MK Godley is originally from New Iberia, Louisiana but moved to Starkville, Mississippi as a child. She attended Mississippi State University and pursued a degree in Animal and Dairy Science prior to her early acceptance into Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. She married her high school sweetheart, Rylan Moore, before she entered her fourth year of veterinary school. During her fourth year, MK did an externship at Country Place Veterinary Clinic for 3 weeks. By the end of those 3 weeks, MK felt right at home and fell in love with the doctors, technicians, clients, and pets of Country Place.
Dr. MK Godley graduated from veterinary school in May of 2023. Soon after graduation, she returned to Country Place Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Godley is a member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, Acadiana Area Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association. She is fear-free certified, BQA certified, and cattle AI certified. Her interests include small animal medicine and cattle reproduction.
Dr. MK Godley and her husband reside in Broussard, Louisiana with their three dogs, Mr. Fen, Mem, and Oakley, and their cat, Polly. She is so excited to serve the people and pets of St. Martinville and surrounding areas.
