Andrea “Pinky” Mire, Veterinary Assistant

What I like best about working at CPVC: My love for the animals, Dr. Jackie and the staff.
Andrea shares her home with sixteen pets. Pinky is the adoption coordinator for Lafayette Animal Shelter and has the special job of caring for CPVC pets on the weekend and the holidays.
Hobbies/Pass Times: Loves dogs and reading. Loves helping with her grandchildren.

Gabbie shares her home with Remy and Logan, blue heelers, Gracie, a pit-bull, and Star, a domestic shorthair.
Hobbies/Pass Times: Training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She currently holds the rank of purple belt In Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and also works as a kid's instructor at Gladiators Academy in Breaux Bridge.

What I like best about working at CPVC: Every day is a new challenge. Almost every vet assistant will tell you “because I love animals.” At CPVC we are closest to the patients whether in treatments, diagnostic testing or providing daily care for the animals in the hospital.
Steffi shares her home with Duchess, Socks, Spirit, Mabeline Blaze, Luckie, Big Red, Little Red, Low Rider, Slip Away, Mollie Ray, Lil Boy, White Foot, and Ava Mae.
Hobbies/Pass Times: Riding horses, spending time on the farm working with the animals, and fishing.

What I like best about working at CPVC: Ava has loved every minute of working at CPVC. She loves the environment and the people she works with. She loves being challenged and always learning new things daily.
Ava owns a horse that is still in training and doing very well. She and her horse have done two competitions together so far. She also shares her home with a rat terrier named Opal, a chicken, and a parakeet.
Hobbies/Pass Times: Ava has been riding horses for seven years and rides horses in her spare time. She loves spending time with family and friends.
